De Telegraaf are reporting that Frank de Boer has been offered the chance to take over at Crystal Palace.

The Premier League club have been linked with a string of managers since Sam Allardyce decided he didn’t want to continue in his role, and De Telegraaf report that things have got to the offer stage with De Boer.

Usually very reliable on Netherlands related stories, the Dutch newspaper say De Boer was offered the position on Thursday, and is set to make a quick decision on the matter. There’s no suggestion whether the former Inter Milan and Ajax manager will accept or reject the Crystal Palace proposal.

De Boer has been linked with a strong of Premier League jobs in recent years, with De Telegraaf naming Tottenham, Liverpool, Swansea City, Southampton, and Newcastle United.

Now with a concrete chance to have a shot at Premier League management, De Boer will want to make sure it’s a good opportunity, after his disaster at Inter.
