Leicester City are expected to complete a deal for Inter Milan midfielder Stefano Sensi in a matter of days, perhaps even hours.
That’s according to Tuttosport, relayed by Tuttomercatoweb and FC Inter News, who are confident that Leicester will get their man.
TMW start by covering Tuttosport and say that Inter are working to sell Sensi, whose contract expires in the summer, and Leicester have come forward in the last few hours to sign him.
They want to buy him this month and the player would be happy to make the move and play abroad.
However, an agreement has not been struck between the two clubs at this moment in time and Inter are waiting for a concrete offer to be made by Leicester.
They are currently requesting €2-3m for the midfielder but the feeling is that it is a matter of ‘days, perhaps hours’ before he packs his bags and departs.
FC Inter News, meanwhile, say Sensi is ‘increasingly closer’ to Leicester and the transfer puzzle is about to be completed.
They reiterate that Sensi is happy to make the move abroad and the Nerazzurri are only waiting for an offer to be made. Again, they want €2-3m for the player.
If that doesn’t arrive then Sensi will remain where he is, with this potential deal the only one on offer for Inter this month, who consider the window closed and one they won’t be doing business in, bar this sale to Leicester.
