Bayern Munich’s search for a new manager isn’t exactly going well.
Earlier this season, Thomas Tuchel announced he’ll be leaving the German club, and that gave everyone involved plenty of time to find themselves a successor.
Despite that breathing space, Bayern have managed to turn everything into a circus and have now turned their attention towards Crystal Palace’s Oliver Glasner.
The manager has had a big impact at Crystal Palace since arriving midway through the season, and there’s excitement at the Eagles about what could be possible for them in the coning seasons.
Therefore, Bayern Munich’s attempt was optimistic to say the least. To make their stance completely clear to the Bundesliga side, Crystal Palace even set out their demands for Glasner to move, and that’s when the German side will have known they’d reached another dead end.
According to Bild, the Eagles wanted €100m for Glasner, an amount that would have smashed any previous fees paid for managers to pieces.
Time for Bayern to move on to yet another target.
