Crystal Palace and West Ham are ‘considering a deal’ for Osasuna midfielder Jon Moncayola this summer.

That’s according to AS, who say the Premier League pair are keen after the player showed ‘unstoppable projection’ this season.

According to the newspaper’s information, the 23-year-old has several sides in Europe vying for him this summer after several impressive displays.

Crystal Palace and West Ham are among them, alerted to the fact he has a €12m release clause in his contract.

That’s a price Osasuna will make any interested party pay, with it made clear the La Liga side are ‘inflexible’ in this demand and would never allow him to leave for less.

They’re keen to keep him and have offered him a new deal that would extend his stay and see him increase his salary.

The midfielder, for his part, is waiting calmly to see what happens, aware that he is under contract, but the ‘hornet’s nest will be stirring’ for him this summer as Watford and Atalanta are also keen on him alongside Crystal Palace and West Ham.

It means his is a name that is worth keeping an eye on as the summer transfer window nears, with it seeming that more than one club are keen.
