Crystal Palace and West Bromwich Albion are expected to up their bids for Fenerbahce midfielder Ozan Tufan.
Reports yesterday linked both clubs with the 25-year-old, with it initially claimed that Crystal Palace had made a €10m bid and were waiting to hear back from the Turkish giants.
West Brom were later added into the mix, with it believed they were set to compete for Tufan’s signature as Sam Allardyce looks to add to his squad.
It was also claimed that Fenerbahce were looking for as much as €20m for their man, although whether either Crystal Palace or West Brom were willing to match that wasn’t made clear.
However, Takvim state today that Fener’s actual asking price is €15m and they have rejected €10m offers from both clubs for the player as a result.
They’ve instead ‘asked’ for the €15m, and both the Baggies and the Eagles ‘are expected’ to up their bids accordingly.
Whether that will see them match Fenerbahce’s asking price isn’t clear, and it seems a little bit of negotiating is needed from all parties if a deal is to happen this month.
