Crystal Palace ‘want to repeat formula’ to sign 29-year-old – Summer free transfer on cards

Vicente Guaita is the first-choice goalkeeper at Crystal Palace, with Sam Johnstone providing him cover. Joe Whitworth and Owen Goodman are the other two stoppers in the squad.

The 36-year-old joined the Eagles for free in 2018 and has been a regular for them since the start of 2019.

Crystal Palace handed a new contract to Guaita last month and his deal is until 2024, but that has not stopped the Premier League side from looking at another player in the same position for the summer window.
