According to a claim in the Turkish media, Fenerbahce midfielder Ouzan Tufan could be set for a move to Russia, after missing out on a transfer to Crystal Palace on deadline day.
Sabah have reported on the latest developments with regards to Tufan’s situation at Fenerbahce, where he’s been frozen out. It’s been revealed a number of Russian teams are showing an interest in the Turkey international, and he could still move as their transfer window only closes on 22nd February.
The Turkey newspaper say Tufan’s agent has been in talks with Russian clubs, but there are no reports if he would go out on loan or a leave on a permanent deal.
Tufan looked to be on the verge of a move to Crystal Palace in the last window, after the Premier League club came to an agreement with Fenerbahce. The Premier League side would have taken the player initially on loan, with a right of redemption of €8m.
The 22 year old was all set to travel to England to complete his move to Crystal Palace, but the Eagles pulled out at the last minute.
However, reports from Turkey today suggest Crystal Palace are still interested in Tufan, and could come back in for him this summer.
