Sassuolo signed André Grégoire Defrel at the start of the season from Cesena in a £5.25m deal, and the player has done considerably well.
The French forward has 7 goals and 6 assists to his name this season in 33 appearances, with most of them coming on as a substitute.
Reports in Italy suggest his performances for Sassuolo have caught the eye of several clubs in Europe, and he could be moving to the Premier League in the summer.
On Saturday, according to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, Crystal Palace and Swansea are interested in bringing the 24-year-old to the Premier League next season.
There is no mention of any offers yet, and it remains to be seen if Sassuolo will allow him to leave just after one season, although the player isn’t really the first choice forward at the club.
Defrel could be tempted by the prospect of playing in the Premier League, and also enjoying some regular football time next season.
