Crystal Palace are admirers of Lens midfielder Andy Diouf, who could depart the French side this summer.

That’s according to Foot Mercato, who report that Crystal Palace have retained their interest in the 22-year-old after also being keen in the January transfer market.

It’s shaping up to be a busy summer for Lens, who have already lost manager Will Still and know the squad will need to be reshaped too.

Facundo Medina has been given his ‘exit certificate’ while Neil El Anyaoui is far from extending his contract at the club either. Diouf is ‘another issue’ that could become active in the coming weeks.

The 22-year-old is a key player for the French club and has a ‘good market rating’, particularly in the Premier League.

Crystal Palace were already on his trail during the January transfer window and are ‘attracted’ to the former Rennes man. They face potential competition from other English clubs but also Sevilla and Bayer Leverkusen, who also appreciate his profile.

It’s a situation that still needs to develop, but one to keep a close eye on as Crystal Palace continue to like him.
