Cabaye played the entire game against Bournemouth, but opted to stay at the club during the international break to avoid further injury.

According to French daily L’Equipe on Saturday, Cabaye should return from injury very soon.

L’Equipe say Cabaye is not expected to be unavailable for too long, and Crystal Palace fans would certainly be delighted with the news.

The 30-year-old missed a penalty against Bournemouth last Saturday, but is still very much a crucial player for Alan Pardew.

Crystal Palace face Middlesbrough after the international break, and Alan Pardew would be hoping to have Cabaye back for the game.

The former Paris-Saint Germain midfielder has another two years left on his contract at Selhurst Park.
