Crystal Palace and Sheffield United are both shopping in China at the end of the window, with the latter looking likelier to have some joy.

Roy Hodgson’s side have been trying to find a deal for Yannick Carrasco, who currently plays for Dalian Yifang.

FootMercato reports Palace are the ‘only serious’ option for the player right now, but that doesn’t mean they’re going to get the signing done.

Dalian, once again, don’t want to see the back of their player, despite him being keen on a return to Europe. Therefore, Crystal Palace will have ‘difficulty concluding’ a deal before the window closes on Friday night.

Meanwhile, De Telegraaf report Richairo Zivkovic is on the verge of signing for Sheffield United. The 23 year old attacker, who has been playing for Yatai FC in China’s second division is thought to be close to a move to Yorkshire.

De Telegraaf reports there’s a verbal agreement between Sheffield United and Yatai FC.

The player is in England, set for a medical, and could stay for longer with the Blades having a purchase option.
