On October 3rd, we covered claims from Sweden that Crystal Palace will tussle with Celtic for Hammarby IF’s Bazoumana Touré.
Back in March, Hammarby took the 18-year-old from Ivorian side ASEC Mimosas. He has impressed for the Swedish club, scoring seven goals and providing three assists from 20 games.
Expressen now claim Crystal Palace, Bayer Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt have been showing keen interest in the winger since the end of July.
As well as the Eagles and the Bundesliga sides, Celtic, Bayern Munich and Liverpool are all keeping close tabs on the Ivorian.
Oliver Glasner’s side want to try to ‘make an early impact’, to gain advantage over others in the transfer side. It’s claimed the London club are ‘preparing an offer’ to sign the player in the winter market.
The Swedish club want to retain the player, but Expressen say they won’t be able to ‘resist bids’ in January. They have informed Touré’s suitors they will need at least €9m to sit at the negotiating table.
Expressen don’t specify what Crystal Palace are willing to offer but the Premier League side have been informed about the fee needed to open discussions.
