Crystal Palace’s Cheikhou Kouyaté is on Trabzonspor’s ‘agenda again’, according to Fanatik.

The Eagles defender was a target for the Turkish club in the last window, but it isn’t specified why the signing wasn’t pursued.

The Süper Lig side’s priority is strengthen their attack and the left-back position in the winter market.

Apart from these two, there are other positions and targets on their agenda. Only Patrick Vieira’s man gets a mention as it’s claimed the 31-year-old is back on Trabzonspor’s transfer ‘radar’.

The Senegal international, who can operate as a centre-back or a defensive midfielder, has a contract until the end of this season.

Fanatik suggest the fee for a potential deal is ‘not expected to be high’ due to the time left on his current deal. It’s claimed the Turkish side are ‘doing cost research’ for the former West Ham United man.

Trabzonspor, however, are not the only club keen on Kouyaté as the website states he has ‘serious suitors from Saudi Arabia’. The details of the Middle East club aren’t mentioned in the report.

Kouyaté has made 13 league appearances this season for Palace.
