Moussa Sissoko has been linked to some of Europe’s biggest clubs since Euro 2016, much to the annoyance of Newcastle United supporters who feel his performances last year shouldn’t come close to justifying such a thing.
Real Madrid and Juventus are among the clubs to be linked to Sissoko, and Newcastle have made it very clear they’re not going to sell the player cheaply. Perhaps Sissoko’s Euro 2016 form will actually help Newcastle next year, because it could bring more funds for Rafa Benitez to invest this summer.
On Monday evening, France’s Le10 Sport claimed that Crystal Palace are doing their best to build a deal to buy the player. It’s stated that a transfer to Crystal Palace wouldn’t be Sissoko’s priority, but he wouldn’t exclude the transfer, especially if Palace put up a big effort to sign him.
Palace are of course managed by Alan Pardew, who worked with Sissoko at Newcastle, and the reunion may well be more attractive because of that.
