Fenerbahce sporting director Emre has denied the club has received an official offer from Crystal Palace for midfielder Ozan Tufan.

The Turkish midfielder has been linked with a move to Selhurst Park for the last week, with Crystal Palace and West Bromwich Albion thought to be keen to bring him to the Premier League.

Indeed, it was claimed that both sides had already made a €10m offer for Tufan, which had subsequently been rejected by Fener, who have made it clear they want at least €15m.

Whether Crystal Palace or the Baggies would be returning with such an offer isn’t yet known, although several other suitors around Europe have emerged since to compete for his signature.

The prospect of Tufan leaving has caused something of a stir at the Super Lig club, with it even claimed that the club’s hierarchy are split on whether to sell this month or delay a departure until the summer.

Emre, though, has allayed some of the fears, insisting that they are yet to receive any official offer for Tufan.

“We are very pleased with Ozan Tufan’s appetite and being among the leading players of the team,” Fanatik report him saying.

“Ozan has a very good heart, a clean boy. It is necessary to evaluate if he has completed his mission in Fenerbahce or not.

“There is currently no official proposal for Ozan.”
