Amid all the media frenzy surrounding the vacant managerial job at Tottenham, it’s easy to forget another London club are without a figurehead: Crystal Palace.

The Eagles watched as Roy Hodgson stepped down from his role with his contract expiring, and they are yet to replace him.

That being said, regardless of who comes in, Crystal Palace still need to think about next season’s squad, with Sasa Lukic among their targets.

That’s according to Gianluca Di Marzio, who explains on Friday that Torino, where the midfielder currently plays, could leave the Serie A club.

The 24-year-old is reported to have ‘many suitors abroad’, among which two ‘appear to have moved with major insistence’: Crystal Palace and Spartak Moscow.

Both destinations apparently interest the player, who will have the choice of either playing in the Premier League or feature in next year’s Champions League with the Russians.

As for Torino in all this, their preference ‘would be to count on the player next season’, but it could come down to Lukic, who is said to be ‘evaluating the possibilities’.
