On Tuesday, journalist Marco Conterio said Union Berlin’s Robin Gosens could be on the verge of joining Crystal Palace.
He also stated the Premier League side were waiting for Marc Guéhi to leave before making an offer for Gosens.
The former Atalanta man came close to returning to Serie A this summer, but his future could be in England.
That’s according to Tutto Atalanta, who state that Crystal Palace are keen on signing the 30-year-old. The Eagles will have funds at their disposal if they manage to sell Guéhi to Newcastle United.
The London club haven’t yet sent an offer to Union Berlin, but the ‘negotiations could take off in the next few hours’.
Sky Deutschland journalist Florian Plettenberg states the Bundesliga side haven’t received an offer from Crystal Palace so far.
PSV Eindhoven have looked at the player, but their interest has cooled down. Plettenberg says Oliver Glasner’s side are the ‘most concrete option’ and are ‘still exploring a deal’ to sign the Germany international.
Gosens, who managed seven goals and four assists from 37 games last season, appears to be keen to leave Union Berlin. The journalist says the German club are only willing to negotiate if there’s a €10m bid on the table.
