Crystal Palace are a part of the developing race for Juventus youngster Matias Soulé should the Italians decide to sell this summer.
That’s according to Tuttosport, who say the decision is yet to be made after the 21-year-old’s breakout season on loan at Frosinone.
The newspaper reports that Juventus are planning a busy summer under director of football Cristiano Giuntoli, but they need to raise money somewhere and to avoid selling big names, they may look at the youngsters.
The focus is specifically on those who’ve been shining away from the club this season and Soulé is one of them, bagging 11 goals and three assists in Serie A for Frosinone this season.
They’re planning for a busy summer themselves to build on the very positive start to life under Oliver Glasner and that’s seen them joining the growing queue for Soulé.
He’s valued at €30m, which would make him the club’s second most expensive signing ever behind Christian Benteke were it to go through.
First Juventus need to sanction a sale and they’re yet to do so as they have doubts about whether a sale would be the smartest options this summer.
If they do, though, Crystal Palace are ready to make their move and sign up another top talent to potentially shine under Glasner’s guidance.
It’s worth noting that multiple Italian reports prior to this have made it clear that nearly every Juventus youngster is up for sale, with Soulé included in that.
