Crystal Palace are one of the ‘most interested’ clubs in Brøndby’s Anis Ben Slimane, according to Danish outlet BT.
The 19-year-old joined Brøndby from Akademisk Boldklub last summer and after spending the first six months with their youth system, he was given an opportunity at the start of this year.
Since then, the midfielder has made six league appearances, managing one goal and registering one assist in the process.
Last month, Brøndby sporting director Carsten Jensen said he wants to reward the young talent’s good performances with a new contract.
That may be difficult because, according to the report, big clubs have started moving for the teenager.
The Eagles are not the only club interested in the player as BT state AC Milan are also keen on Ben Slimane. In fact, the Serie A side have been watching him for ‘some time’, starting from Brøndby’s pre-season friendlies in January.
Ben Slimane’s current deal with the Danish side runs down in 2023 and BT add the player could help Brøndby earn a lot of money, if either Milan or Crystal Palace decide to submit a bid for him this summer.
Roy Hodgson’s side are only mentioned once in the report, while the focus remains largely on the Italians.
