It’s been a pretty bad international break for Premier League injuries, and Crystal Palace haven’t managed to avoid the curse.

The man in question is Wilfried Zaha, as L’Infodrome in Ivory Coast report the forward will miss his national team’s Tuesday game against Central African Republic with an adductor muscle injury.

The 25-year-old, who chose to not represent England last year, played the full 90 minutes in Friday’s game, during which he picked up an assist.

In fact, Abidjan Show state Zaha left the group on Monday to fly back to London, but the detail of the injury had yet to be revealed at that point.

The Crystal Palace forward has made seven appearances for Ivory Coast since January 2017, scoring one goal.

He started all three games during the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations, but was unable to help them get out of the group stages, drawing two games against Togo and DR Congo before losing 1-0 to Morocco.
