Aksam claim Galatasaray are in a fight with Crystal Palace to secure the signature of Chelsea forward Michy Batshuayi but both clubs will need to wait until Valencia terminates his loan contract.
According to Aksam, Galatasaray manager has Fatih Terim told the club’s board to sign Batshuayi before any other clubs come in for him. Yesterday it was claimed the Istanbul club are in talks with Chelsea regarding the attacker.
Galatasaray are said to be monitoring Batshuayi’s situation and they will make an offer if he leaves Valencia in this transfer window.
It’s also reported Crystal Palace are interested in signing the Chelsea owned player after the Eagles missed out on Dominic Solanke to Bournemouth last week.
Crystal Palace will be looking to strengthen their attacking options in this window after their struggles in front of goal this season.
Batshuayi has scored just one league goal for the Spanish club this season, and in Spain it’s been reported repeatedly that Valencia want him to go.
The slant there is that it’s Chelsea who won’t authorise a return for the player yet, perhaps wanting to get a new destination first.
