Last week, we covered reports from Brazil saying Crystal Palace had been in talks for the signing of Fluminense starlet Evanilson.
It was claimed that the Premier League side placed an official bid for the youngster, and were waiting for a response.
Now in an update from Gazeta Esportiva, it’s said Crystal Palace have given up on the striker, but turned their attentions to another Brazilian player.
It’s reported that Crystal Palace are only ‘interested’ in Luis Henrique for now, and haven’t placed a bid for him so far.
He had also been linked to Everton this summer.
It’s quite interesting to see Palace looking for a youngster in Rio de Janeiro, regardless of them being different type of players and perhaps they’re just trying to add some Brazilian flair to their squad for the next season.
