Crystal Palace are showing an interest in Bournemouth’s Hamed Junior Traorè as a move to Napoli is unlikely to be made permanent.
That’s according to journalist Gianluigi Longari, who reports that Crystal Palace want the 24-year-old on loan next year.
Traorè has been on loan with Napoli since the January transfer window after a disappointing few months at Bournemouth since joining them in January last year.
That deal was made permanent in the summer, but he’s only made 13 appearances for Bournemouth to date, with one goal to his name and just 610 minutes of action in total.
He’s been unable to get back on track at Napoli, either, managing no goals or assists in 11 games since his arrival in the January transfer window.
They have an option to make the move permanent, but all indications have been they will not do so, and the midfielder will be returning to Bournemouth in the summer.
Whether he has a future there remains to be seen but it seems Crystal Palace wish to test the waters and are among the interested parties beginning to make their moves.
They are ‘intent on requesting’ a deal for the midfielder and would like to take him on loan from Bournemouth, as Napoli did earlier this year.
Whether the Cherries would be willing to sanction that deal remains to be seen but it seems Crystal Palace will be attempting it as they look to build under Oliver Glasner this summer.
