Everton have ‘made enquiries’ for Sassuolo star Jérémie Boga but face competition from Crystal Palace and West Ham for his signature.
That’s according to Foot Mercato, who say the final days of the window are likely to be ‘hectic’ for the 24-year-old.
They report that Boga has been in the spotlight for several weeks now, with Napoli and Atalanta thought to be keen on the forward.
Sassuolo could be forced to sell as his contract is set to expire next summer, and there has been no mention of a new contract being signed.
It is not just Italian sides who are keen, though, with Boga now ‘attracting interest’ from the Premier League.
FM report that according to their information, Crystal Palace, Everton, and West Ham have ‘recently made enquiries’ about a move.
Indeed, it’s felt they could make a move by the end of the transfer window tomorrow, and the next few days are ‘likely’ to be hectic.
There’s no mention of whether any of those three clubs are leading the race or how much he would cost in any deal.
Everton have certainly been pushing for a winger over the last few days with Porto’s Luis Diaz linked, while Crystal Palace could definitely do with adding extra firepower to their forward line.
West Ham, meanwhile, have had no issues scoring goals, but David Moyes has long wanted to add more pace to his forward line, so a move for Boga would make plenty of sense.
