Crystal Palace continue to be linked with a summer move for Inter Milan defender Yuto Nagatomo. The Premier League could look to strengthen the left back department in the next transfer window, and have also shown an interest in Napoli’s Ivan Strinic.
TMW have reported Nagatomo looks set to leave Inter Milan at the end of the season despite having two years left on his contract. The Japan international extended his current deal last year, following hard to believe claims Manchester United were interested in signing the player.
With Manchester United no longer linked with Nagatomo, a move to England could still happen, with Crystal Palace presented as the likeliest club. Atalanta are also monitoring Nagatomo’s situation at the San Siro.
If unsuccessful in their attempts to sign Nagatomo, Crystal Palace could turn their attention to Napoli left back Strinic. The Croatia international is also likely to leave his club in the summer after failing to hold down a regular place at Napoli since his arrival.
A move for Strinic or Natatomo will depend on Crystal Palace remaining in the Premier League, but after recent results the London club has moved out of the bottom three.
