Crystal Palace have ‘clearly positioned’ themselves to sign Odsonne Edouard from Celtic this summer.

The club are one of a number from the Premier League to have been linked with the Celtic player, and it’s France Football talking up the London club’s interest on Thursday.

Crystal Palace aren’t the only London side keen on the Celtic attacker, with Arsenal also getting a mention.

Indeed, France Football say Edouard can ‘hope for better’ than Palace, and that’s how they present Arsenal. However, the Gunners just seem to be placed as an example, with it being explained they could be in the market for a forward this summer if they see the back of Alexandre Lacazette or Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Lyon have been keen for a while and are described as ‘always attentive’ to the Celtic player, but it’s thought a move to England or Germany would suit the 22 year old better at this stage.

France Football don’t expand on Crystal Palace, although it’s fair to say they’re the club who the article present as keenest.
