Goal.ComTR have reported Crystal Palace are chasing Fenerbahçe winger Volkan Sen. After the recent resignation of Sam Allardyce, Crystal Palace have yet to appoint a replacement, but it seems they’re already active in the transfer market.
It’s been claimed Crystal Palace are set to offer Fenerbahçe €3.5m to sign Sen, and this offer is likely to be accepted because of the Turkish side’s continuing problems with FFP. The Turkish giants want to bring in players this summer, but first they must sell due to their financial situation.
It’s also been claimed the 28 year old has no future at theUlker Stadium under newly appointed manager Aykut Kocaman, and he too would allow the player a move to England. Crystal Palace haven’t yet made an official offer for Sen, but they have already agreed personal terms with the former Bursaspor player.
Volkan Sen joined Fenerbahçe from Bursaspor two years ago for €2.5m but his lack of goals has resulted in his own fans turning against him.
