A few days before their trip to the Spain to face Real Madrid in the Champions League, having a star emptying his guts wouldn’t be great news. Thankfully for Mauricio Pochettino, it’s not a Tottenham player who has been making friends with the basin.
Mundo Deportivo report Sergio Ramos has been suffering from a ‘vomiting bug’, despite playing against Getafe on Saturday. The Spain captain was ill in the run up to the match and had to be given a ‘serum’ to replace his vital liquids and levels.
Zinedine Zidane told reporters that whilst Ramos didn’t feel faint or have a fever, he was ill in the run up to the game. After getting through the warm-up without a serious issue, Ramos-the-warrior played.It’s not a great situation for the defender just a few days before the Tottenham match.
Real Madrid are already likely to be without Gareth Bale, and Keylor Navas is a further problem for the Spanish champions.
