Rijeka are currently top of the Croatian league with a cushion of six points, but the winter transfer window could damage their title chances even if it helps the club’s finances.
Matej Mitrovic has already signed for Besiktas, and claims of a €10m West Brom offer for Filip Bradaric are causing a stir in Croatia.
The claim originated in Italy, likely via an agent, and Croatian newspaper 24Sata say if it’s true, the €10m is just too good to turn down.
Rijeka ‘could not refuse’ a €10m January bid from West Brom, although they’d have a heavy heart seeing another of their team leave. For such a price it’s stated Bradaric ‘will probably leave’ the club.
The player himself ‘would love to’ sign for a Premier League club, say 24Sata, so if the claims are true then Bradaric is likely to turn up at West Brom during the January transfer window.
Bradaric is 24 years of age and has a contract with Rijeka lasting until June 2018. He made his debut for Croatia during the last international break.
Contradicting claims on West Brom transfer, work permit could scupper it, we take a look. #WBA https://t.co/OX2kf9mH2z
