Leeds United attacker Ezgjan Alioski has told the Macedonia media he’s confident his country can get a result against Liechtenstein and that he hopes to get on the scoresheet again.

The player scored in last month’s 2-0 victory over Gibraltar.

Speaking to Gol.mk, the Leeds United star was asked about Macedonia’s game this weekend: “If we play so, we will surely win. If play in good shape, I scored two goals in the first two matches, but I do not care who will score a goal, I want to win. Of course, I want to score a goal again, but if I don’t score, I’ll be happy with three points.”

Alioski has been a key member of Marcelo Bielsa’s side this season and has started all of Leeds United’s league games.

The 26 year old has scored three goals and provided three assists in 12 league games for the Championship side, which has helped the Elland Road club to third in the table.

He’ll be hoping to carry this form into his country’s clash with Liechtenstein on Saturday, a game Macedonia will be expected to win.

Macedonia are then set to meet Armenia next week in the UEFA League Nations, which will be a tricky test for Alioski and his teammates.
