On January 25th, Florentin Pogba told Spanish newspaper AS that his brother Paul Pogba was unhappy at Manchester United when Jose Mourinho was in charge at Old Trafford.

The World Cup winner endured a strained relationship with the former Chelsea manager and the latter dropped the midfielder in his final matches as the Red Devils boss.

Another brother of Paul, Mathias Pogba, now joins Florentin as he’s revealed the 25-year-old wanted to leave the Premier League giants because of the Portuguese tactician.

“Did Paul think about leaving because of Mourinho? Of course. It comes to mind. But today he is where he is. He was under contract so he had to grit his teeth and keep working,” Mathias told Telefoot, as quoted by Le10 Sport.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer replaced Mourinho in December and since then, both the ex-Juventus man and the 20-time English champions have enjoyed a good run of form.

Manchester United have won nine of their last 10 matches played in all competitions and Paul has scored six goals and registered five assists in the last eight league games.
