Italian giants Juventus seem to be dropping out of the race for Wolverhampton Wanderers star Raúl Jiménez.

Website Calciomercato comes up with a story today with the ‘latest’ about the chase, which doesn’t seem as strong as before.

Their report brings two reasons why the Mexican international is no longer a top target for the Old Lady.

The first one is that Juventus seem more focused on the signing of Arkadiusz Milik from Napoli, for whom they’ve been in negotiations for a while now.

The other issue is Raúl Jiménez price. The story says that ‘because of the costs’, the striker isn’t one of the favourites in Juventus’ list of possible singing, sinces Wolves are an ‘expensive shop’ to buy from.

Calcio Mercato doesn’t say how much would Jiménez cost, but considering that he’s been linked to Manchester United and other European giants, these rumours are likely to put off some potential buyers who may not be willing to spend a lot this summer.
