Tottenham Hotspur should already train under a new boss on Tuesday, according to reports from Italy.

Sport Mediaset (via Tutto Mercato Web) now claim that Antonio Conte is one step away from signing his contract and has his first session with the squad scheduled for tomorrow.

The manager is said to be in a meeting with director Fabio Paratici and club president Daniel Levy right now, as they discuss the final details of the agreement.

The report claims that Conte wants a ‘guarantee’ of what will happen on the transfer market in the January window, and that means at least three or four purchases for the team.

He wants ‘the guarantee of a level’, meaning how much will be invested.

The manager’s urge for new signings had already been claimed by the Italian media earlier today, with claims saying he wouldn’t have taken the job if his requests weren’t met.

Tutto Mercato Web just had another story claiming the ‘white smoke’ is close, as Conte is set to sign a contract until 2023. They say the ‘final details and bonuses’ are being worked on at the moment.
