Galatasaray are looking to sign Chelsea central defender Kurt Zouma in the summer transfer window, claim AmkSpor.

The newspaper has reported Galatasaray boss Igor Tudor has contacted his close friend Antonio Conte to allow Zouma to join the Turkish side on loan for next season.

The Chelsea manager has been a close friend of Tudor since their Juventus days, and has reportedly given the green light for Galatasaray to sign Zouma on loan.

AmkSpor report both clubs will soon begin official talks with regards Zouma, and Tudor believes the Frenchman can add steal to his defence. CimBom have conceded the most headed goals this season in the Turkish league, and Tudor feels signing a tall, powerful central defender is what is needed.

A loan move could be good for both parties because Zouma has struggled to get back into the Chelsea team following his long layoff with injury, and Galatasaray are having to lend players due to FFP implications.

Zouma has another two years left on his contract with Chelsea, and move to Galatasaray is likely to guarantee him more playing time ahead of next year’s World Cup in Russia.
