Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte could ‘return’ to Juventus, according to Sport Mediaset.
The Italian was in charge of the Turin club for three years between 2011 and 2014, where he won three titles and two Supercoppa Italiana with them.
Massimiliano Allegri succeeded the current Tottenham boss and the former returned to Juve last summer.
John Elkann, who appointed Andrea Agnelli as the chairman in 2010, is planning to make ‘corporate changes’ at the club.
It’s claimed the latter and Juve vice-chairman, Pavel Nedvěd ‘seem to be the most serious suspects to bid farewell to the Juventus team’. Should that happen, there could also be changes on the Italian club’s bench.
Allegri’s current deal with the Old Lady is until 2025, but he could leave the Serie A side if his main supporter, Agnelli, were to step down as the club’s chairman, and the current Juve coach could make a switch to Paris Saint-Germain.
Should Agnelli leave Juventus, Conte could then do the same at Tottenham Hotspur and ‘return’ to Juve.
If there is a new management at Juventus, Sport Mediaset state the current Spurs boss would be ‘delighted’ to rejoin his former club.
To do that, the ex-Chelsea coach would be ready to ‘give up’ the high wages he is now earning at the north London club. Conte currently earns £15m at Tottenham Hotspur.
