AC Milan’s contacts with Arsenal and Aston Villa over Jakub Kiwior and Clement Lenglet ‘remain alive’ on deadline day but a dramatic twist is needed for either player to end up in Milan.

That’s according to Calciomercato, who say the Italian side will remain attentive to the possibility they can ‘seize an opportunity’ on the final day of the window.

They report that the Serie A side remain keen to add to their defence, if possible, although they won’t be doing anything mad to make that happen.

Instead, they are alert to any possibilities which may pop up on the usually hectic final day of the window and their focus is on Arsenal and Aston Villa in particular.

They’ve been linked with moves for Kiwior and Lenglet throughout this window but have been unable to get a deal done, with Arsenal reluctant to see Kiwior go and Aston Villa refusing to sanction an early end to Lenglet’s loan deal from Barcelona.

Thus, neither have arrived and unless there is a dramatic twist on deadline day at Arsenal or Aston Villa, it does not appear that will be changing any time soon, Milan, though, are remaining attentive in case it does.
