There’s no rush to get the contract signed, given Chelsea are concentrating on the transfer market right now, so any new deal would only be finalised when the window closes.
The west London club are ‘at work’ and their desire is to secure the former Napoli star’s long-term future. The report doesn’t specify the duration of the contract the English club plan to offer Jorginho, with his agent likely to push for longer than Chelsea will initially want to give.
