Fotomac report Besiktas are chasing Stoke City right back Moritz Bauer ahead of next season.

The Austrian international joined Stoke City from Rubin Kazan for €6.2m in January, but could be moving on this summer.

Besiktas manager Senol Gunes confirmed last week that he wants a right back and a striker this summer and the Turkish newspaper say Bauer is a target for the Turkish giants.

It’s claimed Bauer was not included in Besiktas’ initial shortlist, but after he was offered to them via an agent they are now considering the possibility of bringing in the Stoke City player. It’s reported the Istanbul club will look to offer €3m.

Besiktas will be hoping the lure of playing European football and being part of a title challenge could convince him to join the club.

Bauer made 16 appearances for Stoke City last season and is under contract until 2022.
