Earlier on Wednesday, a claim was made by Kurier in Austria as they came out and revealed that Adi Hütter would be the next Crystal Palace manager.
It was said the 53-year-old would take over from Roy Hodgson at the end of the season, and they even named his future assistant manager at Selhurst Park, with that being Klaus Schmidt.
Well, Sky Sports Austria have since come out with their own information, and it goes completely against what Kurier said.
According to them, the manager could indeed ‘move to England in the Premier League in the summer, but not to Crystal Palace’, and that their information ‘does not match’ what their counterparts are reporting.
They explain the manager is in ‘great demand’ and is on the list of several clubs, but Crystal Palace ‘should not be an option for him’.
This means there’s a lot of confusion right now in Austria as to what the future of Hütter holds, but they both seem in agreement that Klaus Schmidt should end up working with the 53-year-old wherever he goes.
For Sky Austria, however, that will not be Crystal Palace.
The big question now is: who will end up being correct?
