Porto fans and the Portuguese media were caught by surprise this week with some Instagram stories posted by Felipe Anderson’s sister.

Juliana Gomes, who’s also his agent, brought images of the player in London, wearing a West Ham kit, and a hashtag saying #QuarentenaEmLondres.

That seemed like an obvious sign that Felipe Anderson was back in England, and would perhaps have his loan spell at Porto cut short.

That’s why several people started asking her about that. She responded with a new story, this time claiming those images were all old, back from the time they were in London.

Mais Futebol is one of the websites who reports it. They point out that Felipe Anderson had been in Porto on Wednesday, even though he wasn’t part of their squad, and that’s why it’d be strange to see him in London a day later.

They asked the Dragons about that, and with no response, they only bring Juliana Gomes’ answer.

Since joining Porto on loan from West Ham last summer, Felipe Anderson made 14 appearances for the club, and continues to struggle to get a sequence for the team. He should be back to the Hammers in the summer, and has a contract until 2022.
