West Ham United’s Felipe Anderson is ‘waiting for Lazio’ and a return to his former club is a ‘concrete scenario that takes shape’ with the passing hours.
That’s according to La Lazio Siamo Noi, and they provide details about the player’s wish, the fee the Serie A side are willing to spend and the Hammers’ demands to sanction the sale.
Anderson is not included in David Moyes’ plans and wants to leave the English club and return to Rome, where he ‘left his heart and friends’.
The 28-year-old is ‘pushing’ for the move and has ‘made it clear’ to his representatives they have the task of mediating between the two clubs to get the deal over the line.
West Ham would like to receive €10m, while Lazio chairman Claudio Lotito ‘would not go beyond’ €5m plus bonuses.
Despite the difference in valuations, there is confidence of concluding the deal because of Anderson’s desire to return to Lazio. There’s belief a deal could be closed for €7m plus bonuses.
The South American was wearing the No.10 shirt in his final season with the Italian club and that number is currently occupied by Luis Alberto. The report states Anderson ‘aims to take’ the No.7 shirt, if he manages to seal a return to Lazio.
