With less than a year left on his contract at Fiorentina, Nikola Milenković has been on the radar of several clubs in Italy and across Europe.
Over the past couple of days, West Ham United have been heavily pushed forward as the main contender to sign the 23-year-old this summer.
On August 6th, TuttoMercatoWeb reported the ‘agreement is close’ between the two sides, while they also stated the defender’s ‘will is to be understood’ over joining the Hammers.
Later that day, we covered claims made by Tuttosport that David Moyes’ side ‘have raised the pressure and offer’ over acquiring the Serbia international’s services, but the details of the proposal were not mentioned.
Calciomercato now explain the centre-back’s exit from the Serie A side is ‘really in the decisive stages’.
Although he has been chased by several clubs in recent months, the player’s future could be at West Ham.
Journalist Marco Demicheli provides more information in a video. He states West Ham have been following Milenković for a year and a ‘concrete offer of more than €15m’ from the Hammers will ‘arrive’ at Fiorentina ‘in the next few hours’.
There’s no mention whether or not Milenković favours a move to the English capital.
