Hakim Ziyech signed for Chelsea from Ajax in the 2020 summer transfer window, with the clubs having agreed a deal earlier in the year.
He arrived with much fanfare and whilst the move hasn’t been a disaster, it’s not too unfair to say Ziyech hasn’t lived up to expectations.
This season he’s been in and out of Thomas Tuchel’s side, and that’s seen transfer rumours get off the ground. Multiple clubs are thought to be interested in the 28-year-old, and one of those is AC Milan.
Calciomercato report the Rossoneri are keen as they look for a creative addition in the January window, however, they know it’s not going to be easy to sign the Chelsea player.
It’s explained that’s because he’s a ‘concrete goal’ for Borussia Dortmund, who have the financial comfort of knowing they’ll be getting a big fee for Erling Haaland in the not too distant future.
That’s why Calciomercato feel it would be difficult for Milan to compete, and therefore a move to the Bundesliga side is seen as likelier.
