Oumar Niasse has started in just two league matches after his €18m move from Lokomotiv Moscow earlier this year.

Things only got worse for the 26-year-old with the arrival of Ronald Koeman at Everton in the summer, and the Senegalese forward hasn’t made a single appearance under him.

A move in January is very likely, and reports in Turkey suggest Trabzonspor are keen on signing him. According to Fotospor, the Turkish side are interested in a loan switch, and keen to get a deal done with Everton.

It’s been reported Everton have been offered £1.2m as loan fee for 18 months, whilst Niasse’s wages of £1.3m per year year will be paid by Trabzonspor.

As things stand, Niasse doesn’t seem to have a future at Everton under Ronald Koeman. A loan move could be suitable for all parties, as it’s very unlikely Everton will be able to recoup the transfer fee they paid for him at the moment.

Earlier claims in Turkey of Everton demanding a permanent transfer at €8m have stopped, and there looks to have been some compromise on both sides.
