‘Complete’ player with ‘international experience & personality’ – Tottenham transfer claim growing, we take a look

Mousa Dembele to AC Milan is a rumour growing, with many English takes on a Tuesday Correire dello Sport article, but it may not be all that it seems.

The Italian newspaper do include the Tottenham midfielder in an AC Milan transfer round-up, and they do sound rather impressed with him.

Explaining that Dembele is the ‘complete’ midfielder with ‘international experience and personality’, Correire dello Sport talk up Milan’s chances because it’s believed the player is ‘no long in the favour’ of Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino.

That doesn’t seem quite right, and to be fair to Corriere dello Sport, they start their claims with ‘From London they signal the involvement of Milan for Moussa Dembele’ which means they’ve got it from English rumours.

So there’s now countless English takes covering the Corriere dello Sport article, which in itself is merely a round-up for Milan and the Italian newspaper covering what they’ve read from England.

It’s only January 2nd, we may be in for a long month.
