It’s been a while since the Colombian press has been showing how anxious they’re for Yerry Mina’s debut in the Premier League.

Even though the player has already featured for Barcelona, they really want the national team star to be a regular in the most famous league in the world.

That’s why the Colombian version of Marca brings a story explaining all the reasons why Marco Silva should or shouldn’t give Mina his debut at Old Trafford against Manchester United.

Marca lists three points which are in Mina’s favour. They are his ‘tremendous aerial game’, the fact he ‘needs to play now’, and his ‘impact in the Premier League’.

In this last topic, they say Everton have signed a player with ‘huge impact’, as press and fans can’t wait to see him on the pitch.

On the reasons against his weekend debut, there are ‘Keane’s and Zouma’s form’, ‘a match of huge demand’ and ‘a week later and covered at home’, as Marco Silva’s staff would be considering that he could debut in the next fixture against Brighton at the Goodison Park.

We’re pretty sure that Everton fans are excited to see Mina on the team, but it’s interesting how the Colombian media considers this to be a world football event.
