Jakub Kiwior has never managed to become a regular for Arsenal, since joining from Italian side Spezia in January 2023.
So far this season, Mikel Arteta hasn’t used the Polish defender much and he’s picked up only 17 minutes of first-team football in the Premier League, playing once in the Champions League and the League Cup.
Riccardo Calafiori’s arrival has perhaps impacted his game time further and there could now be the possibility of Kiwior’s exit from Arsenal.
TuttoSport note that the ex-Spezia man has ‘collected just 17 minutes’ in the Premier League and this could lead to his departure, with Juventus seeing Kiwior as one of their ‘main objectives’ for the January transfer window.
The 24-year-old worked under Thiago Motta during their time together at Spezia and is appreciated by the Juventus boss for his technical abilities.
Juventus need a new centre-back in January because Gleison Bremer has picked up a serious knee injury and the Arsenal man could indeed be the man they go for.
Other Italian sides have also been linked with Kiwior in recent months, but Juve’s need seems rather urgent. The player’s lack of game time at the Emirates would push him towards the exit door.
