Takvim claim Galatasaray officials will travel to England to complete the signing of Stoke City midfielder Gianelli Imbula.
The Frenchman has been linked with a move to the Turkish giants this month and Takvim say Galatasaray manager Fatih Terim is keen to work with the Stoke City player.
It’s reported Galatasaray will meet with Stoke City officials and the Turkish club are hoping to come to agreement over Imbula before they return to Istanbul.
The Turkish newspaper say Imbula has had offers from other clubs such as Torino, and SFR Sport yesterday reported both Newcastle United and Crystal Palace have made enquiries for the 25 year old.
However, Takvim say Imbula would prefer to join Galatasaray because they can offer Champions League football next season, and now the Turkish champions are hoping to loan him for next season.
Galatasaray have also been closely linked with a move for Imbula’s Stoke City teammate Badou Ndiaye.
