Mario Mandzukic has now joined Joao Cancelo and Paulo Dybala in the list of Juventus players who could be heading to Manchester in the next few days.

Tuttosport claim Manchester United were interested in the Croatian in the past, but he turned it down.

Massimiliano Allegri was a great admirer of the 33-year-old, but with Maurizio Sarri replacing the former, the attacker’s situation has ‘changed radically’. Therefore, he has started to look around.

During last week’s meeting between Fabio Paratici and Manchester United leaders, for the swap deal between Dybala and Romelu Lukaku, the Mandzukic topic was also discussed.

Tuttosport believe the negotiations could ‘close by Monday’ as talks between two clubs are progressing well. Juve are looking at a fee of around €10-15m.

After Juve and United find an agreement, Mandzukic’s agent Ivan Cvjetkovic would negotiate personal terms. He is currently earning €5.5m per season with the Old Lady.

From Tuttosport’s report, there is nothing to indicate if United are keen on signing him or if the player himself is open for a move, they seem to be getting a little carried away.
