Sent on loan to Torino last season, Dennis Praet impressed away from Leicester City when he wasn’t injured.

It was his dicey fitness record that led to the Serie A club’s decision to forego the €15m option to buy the player permanently and send him back to the King Power Stadium.

However, there has always been a feeling that if another loan was possible, then Ivan Juric, who so enjoyed working with Praet last season, would welcome him back with open arms.

That’s why the idea that a return to Turin is still on the cards, as explained by La Stampa, relayed by TuttoMercatoWeb.

They state ‘the track that can lead to Dennis Praet’ heading back to the Serie A side ‘remains alive’ following the recent injury sustained by Aleksey Miranchuk.

However, for this to happen, Torino need two things to happen: ‘first, that no club offers the €11m that Leicester ask for to free Praet and the second is linked to the exits of Armando Izzo, Simone Verdi and Simone Zaza’.

Those departures would then ‘create a good treasure to offer’ to Leicester in order to get them to agree to part ways with the midfielder.

Let’s be honest, if the right amount is put on the table, that shouldn’t be too hard.
